Dan has been working in the arboriculture and forestry industries since 1996. Dan worked on a forestry crew while employed at the National Park Service. His duties included removing hazardous trees and wildland firefighting. This experience expanded his knowledge of tree care, timber falling, and wildland firefighting operations. He continued his experience and growth in the timber industry as a timber faller and equipment operator, under yarders, cable sides, tractor sides, and road building and maintenance crews. While working for various tree care companies, he achieved a leadership role running day to day operations and managing large scale projects, for both private and public clients. As the President of SkyView, Dan strives to pass his knowledge and experience onto his employees through hands-on leadership, coaching, training, and team and skill building. He takes great pride in the quality of his work and strives to provide clients with the knowledge and expertise for proper tree care and management.
Qualifications:
Nathan is an ISA Arborist with over 6 years of experience between the West Coast and Midwest. At SkyView, Nathan promotes a safe working environment and modern guidelines for tree care. Nathan has a diverse experience portfolio in tree care, which started with doing Plant Health Care in Indiana in 2017 and expanded to tree care in Michigan and now California.
Nathan lives in Santa Rosa and enjoys spending time in the forests and mountains of Northern California.
